Are you passionate about nurturing young talent and shaping future musicians? Christchurch Boys' Choir is seeking a musical director starting in 2025. Over the last 38 years, hundreds of boys from all over the wider Christchurch area have rehearsed, performed and created memorable experiences with the Christchurch Boys’ Choir.
Christchurch Boys’ Choir is an auditioned choir for treble (unchanged) voices. The choir sings a range of pieces from traditional songs, spirituals, sacred song, opera, jazz and movie soundtracks. The 2 - 4 part arrangements are carefully selected by the Music Team to challenge the boys whilst entertaining audiences.

A huge thank you to Lions Club Wigram for giving a scholarship for one of our singers. Harshavarthen is our head chorister this year and has received this scholarship.
About the Christchurch Boys' Choir
The choir performs several times a year and has an annual out of town residential workshop
They are available for concerts and corporate functions in Christchurch.
Our boys become confident young men through being coached by experienced music mentors and being surrounded by some excellent role models.
Lasting friendships are made and many of our members go on to the National Secondary Schools' Choir and the National Youth Choir.
